U.S. festival to screen Iran’s “A Little Hug”

TEHRAN –Iranian short drama “A Little Hug” will go on screen at the 32nd edition of the St. Louis International Film Festival (SLIFF), which will be held in the U.S. city from November 9 to 19. 

Co-directed by Amir Mahdi Sadeqi and Ali Sheikhi, the film tells the story of Termeh, an eighteen-year-old girl who, along with her father, seeks an illegal abortion from a female doctor.

Starring Anita Baqeri, Faezeh Bakhtiar, Kaveh Farjadmanesh, this is the first international premier of the movie.
